About Me I am a stay at home mom right now, going back to school to earn a certificate in Medical Coding. I love to take pictures, mostly nature and most of the time Black and White. My favorite photographer is Ansel Adams. I love to crochet, I call myself a yarn addict because if I am near a place that sells yarn I need to go in and usually can't resist buying a few skeins. I love music, it helps me get through highly emotional times, and occasionally when I need to beat something I make bread from scratch, amazing what pounding bread dough will do for you.
Music I like far too many genre's to list. About the only thing I don't like honestly is most hip hop/rap. I will usually give an artist a chance and listen but most of it is just not something I can relate too. And anything played at earbursting sound levels no matter what it is is not something I can really deal with either.
Movies Favorite of All time is The Lion in Winter with Peter O'Toole and Katherine Hepburn. The language was just so sharp and meaningful if I can say that. The dialogue was so crisp and smart. Newer movies, The Mummy and The Mummy Returns, Underworld and Underworld: Evolution, Notting Hill, Memoirs of a Geisha, Eat Drink Man Woman, Like Water for Chocolate. Like a wide variety.
TV CSI the original is about the only network TV I like and I try to catch Real Time with Bill Maher on HBO when I can.
Books Again authors because the books are too numerous. Katherine Kurtz Deryni Series. Charles de Lint, most of his books, Deborah Turner Harris and there is a new one I found but can't remember the name of the author.
Likes Chocolate, Mead, Crocheting, Gardening, Photography, Baking, Music, Birdwatching, volunteering for a good cause.
Dislikes Narrowminded people, liars, and people who cheat on their spousees.
Hobbies Crocheting, gardening, photography, baking, birdwatching and listening to music
Vices Chocolate in almost any form and sometimes being too quick to judge people and being extremely talkative when I am nervous.
Virtues A true friend, if you are my friend I will do everything in my power to help you when you need it. I am a great shoulder to cry on.
Heroes Not sure I truly identify with someone enough to call them my hero. I think the closest person I have as a hero is one of my friends back home, Kelly.

    Almost done with School

Tuesday, May 15, 2007, 07:37 PM EST [General]

Well I am nearly done with school, YEAH! I have a little reading left to do and then a test to take by next Monday. Then I get to focus on me, my children and my home for the summer. I was supposed to be doing a clinical this summer but can't seem to get things lined up to do it. Ah well I will eventually get it all straightened out. I will be adding a picture of my first rose bloom of the season in my photo gallery. The rose is called Scentimental and I have been waiting for a week for the blossoms to unfold and share their beauty so I hope you all enjoy it.

    Still here just very busy

Wednesday, May 9, 2007, 07:27 AM EST [General]

Yes I am still alive. I have been trying to get through the end of the semester for my college classes, playing in the dirt outside, which has run up against bad weather and some misplaced planting boxes, and dealing with the children. Also trying to get things straightened out for my Clinical which is coming up in about 3 weeks and we still don't have everything hammered out. The main thing is I don't want the Chickenpox vaccine and I have now talked to the right person who has said she will try to help me get around that requirement. YEAH! I should be a little more present here on my blog soon. I hope everyone had a great Beltaine.

    Interesting breakdown

Thursday, April 5, 2007, 03:54 PM EST [General]

You scored as Ecclectic Pagan. A veritable blend of all the pantheons and perhaps a dash of a few other religions as well, you're the versitile Ecclectic Pagan.  You have no problem wearing an ankh while setting an offering to Herne on your alter just below your image of Hera.  You don't believe in coloring within the lines, and are a bright free-thinker.  While you respect the views of your fellow pagans, as far as you're concerned, religion is the sky, and there's no one about to clip your wings with lines and limitations.
